Advantages: Walkman phone, low cost.
Disadvantages: Poor camera.
I recently purchased this phone and I am very pleased I did.
I was previously on a contract, but my previous phone was in a sorry state and I decided I wanted to go back to pre-pay. Also I did not want to spend too much on a phone, due to my knowledge of how much stress I put on my phone.
However, despite not wanting to spend a lot I also wanted to have the option of using it as a music player, and a phone which was relatively small and easy to use.
I felt that this would be an expensive proposition, however, I managed to find this phone, which despite being inexpensive also incorporated the Walkman brand. Whilst the memory incorporated into the phone isn't very large, it is possible to expand this. However, one word of warning, make sure you get the correct sort of card, as the salesman in the shop I visited try to sell me the wrong one!
The phone itself is of a good quality and also comes with teh speakerphone option. As would be expected from a phone which carries the walkman brand, the soudn quality bth when listening to music, as well as when making calls, is very good. I have recieved comments that my voice sounds muffled to people who are listening, but this may be due to the poor signal I get from my network operator. The phone also comes with SMS, which when using predictive text has a good array of words built in, and extra ones can be added. Also there appears to be and aspect of memory to the predictions, as words I use often have moved up the list.
The major disadvantages with the phone are poor quality of the camera, as well as it's lack of bluetooth ability.
I have had this phone for 3 months now, and have had no problems with it at all.
Summary: A great buy if you do not wish to spend a lot on the phone, with the added bonus of a Walkman!

- 12/07/08 Good start here and nicely written, but I really think you could have told us much more about how this works as a phone. In fact, you practically forgot it was a phone with your last line here and called it a camera! (Yes, I know that was a mistake.) |
