Advantages: Good quality phone that does a basic job.

Disadvantages: If you're looking for hi-tech bells & whistles, look elsewhere...

The w200i is a case of horses for courses. If you need the latest phone with all the bell and whistles, then forget this one. If - like me - you need a simple, cheap phone you can rely on, then this is a bargain at £30 or less.

I paid £30 for mine at Argos (Orange payg) and I haven't regretted the purchase. No bluetooth, etc, but I don't need or want all that stuff - I'm disabled and need a cheap phone I can rely on in an emergency.

The w220i is easy to use for calls and texts, which is all I need. That said, it does have a camera (just adequate, but I hardly use it anyway), a radio and an mp3 player. I'm divided over the last two - I enjoy radio and mp3s (in fact the w200i - with a bigger memory card I got cheap from Amazon - is better than the dedicated MP3 player I already had) - but I have to wonder about the wisdom of running down the batteries on something I may need in an emergency.

All in all a good buy. I've seen the same phone at £40 and more (in fact Argos seem to have now put up the price). Frankly it isn't worth it - but at £30 (saw it in Woolies the other day at that price) it's a snip. Few bells and whistles- just a good reliable and easy-to-use mobile phone.
