I brought this phone. it must be about 5 years ago now and when I got it i just loved it. I like flip phones, especially because its purple and that's my favorite colour. and that fact that i like sony ericsson better than any other phone brand names.
This phone is a nice and slim compact size and it just fits nicely into your pocket. it is a nice deep purple colour which is lovely.

On the front of the phone there are three buttons which are in braille. Play/stop, fast forward and rewind. When you want to listen to music those three braille like buttons light up so its great to see in the dark and if you have your phone in your pocket you can distinguish the buttons easily.
On the front of the phone it also has a illuminated screen so you can see the time, date and any messages or phone calls that you receive.
The sony ericsson w380i has a really cool little gadget as well. If you have a phone call and you don't really want to answer it than you can hover your hand over the front of the screen and your phone will automatically go on to silent, but its still ringing so the person that is calling doesn't know you are not ignoring them or to busy to answer the phone.

As you open the flip on the phone you will notice that it is loose wobbly or about to brake, unlike some flip phones i have tried, this flip is very sturdy and doesn't feel as though its going to snap off in your hand.

The keypad buttons are quite sunken in so it does take some getting used to. i have found that after a while of texting my fingers start to hurt at the edges of my nail it from pressing the buttons.
There are your obvious buttons for answering and ending a phone call and you text and dialing keys.
what i have found is that the on button is on the key pad and i have found it quite hard to press as it is sunken as well. there is a big circle button to use as your left right up and down to go through your menu.

The screen is fairly big. not as big as the screens on the more modern phone but big enough to read messages and look at pictures.

downloads: on this phone this is were you can go and buy pictures and games. it is an easier way of getting to the games and pictures on the internet. its just a direct link.

music: this is were the music store and your personal Walkman is were you put your own music on to this phone. it also comes complete with a radio.

entertainment: this is were you can play on music dj which is were you can create your own little music beats
this is also were the voice recorder lives.

media album: this folder is were all your pictures, videos , games themes and web pages are kept.

messaging: messaging is were all your inbox, outbox , sent and draft folders are so you can keep track of who you have text and what you said.

internet: the internet is a mini computer.

call history: the call history is a list off all the calls you have made and all the missed calls so you can keep track of who you have called.

address book: is were you store all your phone numbers.

orgainiser: the orgainiser on this phone as pretty much the same on any phone with calendar , calculator, stopwatch and timer.

settings: the settings is to adjust your phone to the way you like it such as volume, wallpapper, ring tone and message tone.

I have had this phone for a very long time and it still works in perfect condition. i kept this phone as a just in case i need a phone because my main phone has let me down and low and behold it has, but i can always trust this phone to keep me going.
