Advantages: practical, many features.

Disadvantages: cheap, breaks easily, few useless functions.

The Sony Ericsson W580i is part of the new generation of pocket gadgets. Phone, camera, mp3 player, organizer, alarm, fitness monitor; this thing is the real deal. The phone is a little odd to comprehend at first. The absence of clear on/off/cancel make tasks a little complicated. The camera is of excellent quality, the removable memory slot proves useful for memory upgrade. A noticed problem is a faulty locking function. If the phone gets lodged at the bottom of your pocket it will unlock and beep around.

Summary: Would not buy another.
