Definitely consider different phones in the range (Sony Ericsson W580i)

Advantages: Good variety of features, easy to use, expandable memory Disadvantages: low phone memory, keys faulty, basic camera I have very mixed emotions about the phone. I bought it 6 months ago, and I'm already planning my next purchase. As with all sony Ericsson's, the w580i is simple and easy to use. However, I've found the sim card difficult to insert and remove, often having to use the corner of the battery cover to remove it. The memory card is also easily dislodged. The handset memory is low, but can easily be expanded with an m2 (microstick) memory card. Applications that are preloaded on to the phone include a step counter, which converts into "how far round the world you would have walked by now", an mp3 player, radio, a supposedly 2mp camera which I found to be very basic and poor quality, a video recorder and bluetooth. There is also a video DJ, where you can edit videos, either cutting them in length, or adding a soundtrack (or in our case, giving my nine month old a voice). You can also download applications and java games, but the battery life tends to be used up quickly. Also, all of the keys on my keypad are craccked, and my # key no longer works. I assummed this was due to my heavy handedness, but later found out it was a very common fault. Can sometimes be slow to load, and can also turn itself off spontaneously. Summary: consider other phones.
