Great little phone (Sony Ericsson W595)

Advantages: Ease of use , simple lay out and lots of features

Disadvantages: no flash on camera

I wont go into all the spec and details as Im far from a tech geek so dont know what Im talkign about .

What I will say is this is a great little phone . I tend to stay away from anything that isnt a nokia as I find them all the same and simple .But I eventually got bored and so when I was offered a upgrade I grabbed this little gem .

Im on 3 network and so have the limeted edition colour of umm well Id call it dark grey but it probably has a special faffed up name .

Its easy to use and laid out in an idiot proof way.

The handset is a slide up model , you can access phones menu and features with the phone closed aswell as open . The slide up motion is smooth and feels secure in the up postion .When slid up it reveals the flat keypad which is very easy to use.

The build quality is very good although trying to get the back off to insert sim etc is somewhat tricky . The battery life is great even when using the walkman and the many other features.

The call quality is another plus for me , crystal clear sound and the volume can be adjusted easily on the side of the handset.Texting is alot easier than I was expecting it to be .

Comes with a 3.2mp camera and video camera which does the job .Only downside to this is is has no flash which is a little dissapointing , but at end of the day it is a phone afterall .

Does a variety of things , I specially like the walkman and think the playback quality is great , the max volume is good too . Easily heard over the car running as I playback through the phone and not radio :)

Comes with all you need to connect up to pc and download onto or off of phone . You can personalise ringtones and message tones .

Is wap thingy enabled and at touch of button your surfing the net as they say . The browser loads up quickly depending on coverage . The screen changes to horizontal or vertical view depending how your holding the phone , I like that about it . ( yes yes Im easily pleased lol )

The only prob I have found with it is the heaphones it comes with seem to pick up every little noise and transfer it through the playback . I use the walkman feature when Im walking the dog and every footstep I take echos through the earphones and so does the earphones cable rubbing against my coat etc . May just be my set are faulty , but it does get a little annoying .

And also the large screen is prone to scratches so a case wouldl eb a good idea

All in all though I like it and would definatly have another
