This is the current phone that I own and it does exactly what I wanted it to do and more. I got this phone for my Birthday at a reasonable price and the main reason was the Walkman feature.
I enjoy to listen to music on the go and when I am just sat about and this phone allows me to do both of these things. The sound quality is really good and the headphones that were supplied as part of the package are top of the range. They have the in ear feature that amplifies the music and the amount of music it can store is immense. The extra memory card that is added in is 4G and can store a complete photo album and extra videos and games as well as the excess music that may need to be stored.
The actual media device itself is very straight forward to use and the buttons are simple and efficient. I have never had a problem with the sound quality and the speakers are good if you are in company and want to play the music aloud instead of through the headphones. A hands free extra device can be added onto the phone to pick up radio receptions if you wish to tune into local or national stations.
The sliding mechanism of the phone has never faltered and I have had the phone for over a year now so it is definitely durable and robust. The design is colourful and bright but simplistic at the same time and i like the colour variation that is available with each model for the handset. If there are any complications that you encounter, there is a very useful demo tour of all these particular features that runs through a step by step guide on how to use each of them. The ability to change the functions that certain buttons have such as creating your own shortcuts within the phone is efficient for the best use.
One issue that I would have with this phone is the lack of games that come with it. There were four pre-downloaded games on the options when I tested the phone in the shop but upon purchasing the phone i had difficulties accessing these games because I later realised they were only demos and after five plays on two of the games I would be required to purchase the full version for anything up to £5 which I had not anticipated. I also could not update the downloading device and I am still consistently confronted with an error message everytime that I do. Nevertheless there are plenty of handy applications that the phone has that keep me entertained such as the world clock zone or the comic strips app but I especially like the music maker which is quite a simple programme but allows creativity and can show your friends the music you have created on the device.
The features on this phone are really top notch and the graphics are another key aspect, the camera is 3.2 megapixel with an auto focus that makes each picture come out to a high standard every time. The options that are available when in video mode are also very interesting because although the phone doesn't have a flash, it has night mode and the brightness can be altered to extremes as well as the effect on background such as sepia or cartoon style. Pictures can be edited as well and glasses, stars etc can be added into the picture afterwards for comic effects.
The phone came with a cable that connects the device to a computer or laptop and enables the transfer of files to and from each device however my cable has stopped working recently and the prongs that connect it to the phone have become slightly bent and I'm not sure if this is simple wear and tear or if the device has bent them itself but these are easily replaceable and it still works in some circumstances.
On a whole I would thoroughly recommend this product to somebody who enjoys there music on the go and when in the company of others. The great memory offer is a key feature and additional memory cards can be added so you are able to listen to your whole back catalogue of music.
