A reliable phone for just about anyone. (Sony Ericsson W610i)

Advantages: Easy to use, solid and durable. Disadvantages: The back makes a satisfying noise when you take it off and put it back on - leads to looseness.
I've had this phone for a couple of years now, and it still works as well as ever. It's been dropped countless times, and has been subjected to being tossed around, having its buttons pressed idly, and even a four-day camping trip! As a phone, it's superb: easy to navigate (although I do have the tendency to accidentally click on the internet menu at the top), good texting facilities (although it does come up with some strange 'words') regardless of the awkward-looking buttons, an intuitive Walkman application, and a clear 2 megapixel camera. It's a pretty solid phone in terms of technology. It was never top of the range, but it's a nice, dependable phone which won't break if you sit on it or subject it to a strong gust of wind. Summary: Robust and practical, while still looking good.
