I have always been somewhat of a mobile phone addict, having to have the best model, the most up to date and the one with the most features and this has always been a pet hate with my partner and when it came to upgrading 2 years ago I knew I had to get a phone to last as my last upgrade was awful and I ended up selling it on ebay and purchasing another phone from a friend so I wanted to go for something that was easy to use and offered a great deal of extras. For many years I had always opted to have a Nokia model as I found them easy to use, modern and sleek but the last model I had was chunky and too advanced for it to cope with and couldn't cope doing the ... My reviews are different. I don't fill them with blurb from the packaging that you can find yourself in an instant on Amazon. I tell people how long I have owned the item, why I bought it, what I compared it with, how I ended up choosing it, whether it lived up to those expectations, and in general what I think of it. I also add the 3 important ones: Would I buy it again? Would I recommend it to a friend? Who WOULD I recommend it to? I have had this phone for 2 years. I also looked at the other Sony Ericsson ones in the same range, and at Motorola. The main reason I chose this one was that I tend to stick to the same brand but wanted ... Read the complete review

For the last 12 months or so I have been using the Samsung D500 which has served me very well indeed. When I go looking for a phone I do not go looking for the one with the best features, I go looking for the one with the best features out of the sturdy phones, some of the more flimsy ones would not last 5 minutes at work in my pocket. So out of the choices I had I chose the Sony Ericsson W810i, and having had it for a day I am impressed. There are a few niggles I have with it, but on the whole I think it is going to be a good choice. Features of the Sony Ericsson W810i include: * 2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 4x digital ... I've had the Sony Ericsson W810i since October 2006, and am still really impressed with it. It's user friendly, a good size and weight, and great quality. The music player is of very high quality, I actually still use it as my main music player, as I got a great 2gb memory card for it last year. Sound quality is far better than most other phones I've seen. There are just a couple of issues that keep it from being the perfect phone however. It is very easy to accidentally press the walkman button and start the music playing when the keypad is unlocked. This isn't a major problem but can be annoying/embarrassing. The plastic flexible memory card cover is ... Read the complete review

Easiest phone i've used. For the price tag the performance is excellent. When top of the range phones are experimenting with touchscreen displays the w810 keeps it reliable with standard buttons. This means txting is fast and for everyday use its comfortable to use (definatly advantage over other phones) The cameras 2mgp is perfect for quick photos and woudlnt notice the difference for facebook photos but if your looking for desktop pictures youll have to stick with your digital camera. Build quality is excellent. The body is mainly made from ABS plastic which basically means the phone wont show its age. I have had mine for over a year and you ... Read the complete review
