Advantages: easy to use, nice looking
Disadvantages: not reliable
For the past 6 years or so ive been on contract so havent bought a new phone as such but have constantly had upgrades and have expirenced a variety of different handsets.
I had the Sony Erricson W810i Phone last year on Contract, normally i know months in asdvance what phone i want but at this time i didnt i just went and had a look in the shops and ended up coming away that day with this phone. Why? one reason was because the man in the shop highly recomended it and said it was the best one out at the time, but i also found it aesthetically pleasing and it had good features, the camera was as good as you could get at the time it was released.
I have a soft spot for sony erricson and i loved having this phone and it sounds sad but i do miss it now that ive moved on and upgraded, its very easy to use, the buttons arent to small, and the features are good, it was also easy to upload things such as music and pictures from my laptop onto it, something i took for granted however its not so easy with my new phone so that really is a bonus.
The only bad point i have is that i didnt find it hardwearing, i had over 10 of these phones during the 18 month contract, luckily for me i was on contract so didnt have to buy a new phone each time it broke, however i was charged a fee of something like 25 pound each time which adds up! I didnt treat this phone badly and was told alot of people were having simerlar problems, so that may be something you want to keep in mind. Everyones expiriences are different tho and this is a lovely phone if you can get past that.
Summary: nice little phone, everything you could need for a phone
