This phone is fairly old now, compared to the high end model available on contracts, I purchased mine a year ago and as phone/MP3 player, it is a great little package. SE finally got rid of the unreliable joystick navigational control on this model, so you dont have to worry about it packing up and leaving you with half the functionality, it relies on sony's own brand of memory cards, the older memory stick duo's, but as they are older now, you can pick up a 4gig one for around £25.
Looks wise, it is straight to the point, not beautiful, but pleasing enough, you have one touch walkman keys, volume control for on the move alterations, the 2mp camera is pretty decent, but avoid the wap browser, it is very slow.
For what you will pay, this phone is suitable for people who want a good standard of features for their money, it has done me proud for a year, I have had no issues in regards to faults and it has a sturdy, if a little plasticy feel to it.

Summary: You could do a lot worse....
