A great phone full of features. (Sony Ericsson W810i)

I have had a couple of phones over the years and when my last one wouldn't charge it was time for me to search for a new one. My friend recommended me Sony Ericson phones and after playing around with his, I wanted one. I saw this one and the W800i and all have pretty much similar features.

I eventually chose the W810i because it was slightly thinner, supports EDGE and also has a larger screen. Everything else is pretty much identical. The W810i includes lots of features, including, a fantastic 2MP which is very clear, infared, bluetooth, FM radio, a speaker (not very loud compared to other phones) and the Walkman Music MP3 Player. This is fantastic with a great user interface which is very easy to use. In my opinion the Walkman music player is second only to the iPod's. However, it is still terrific and the sound quality is very good. I also liked the fact that I could add my own 4GB memory card to store my own music.

There was only one problem with the 810i, when I set up the phone I connected it to my computer and installed the software that came with the phone. I used it to install music, despite me spending over one hour sorting through my collection and importing them into the software the music didn't put the music on the phone correctly. After wasting another hour finding a soultion, I had to delete all my data on the phone and start again. The problem was with the software, it puts the music in the wrong folder and means it is viewable in the Walkman player. To solve this, I had to drag and drop like a using a memory stick. However, the phone still works great and is very reliable, so far, I have had no problems and it is full of useful features.

Summary: The W810i is a great phone, full of useful features and is very easy to use.
