Advantages: Very reliable, doesn't die easily like alot of phones! Good features- I love the built in MP3 player

Disadvantages: Battery life isn't amazing but if you don't use MP3 player all day and charge regularly its fine.

For years I used a Nokia phone, it was sturdy, relible, tough as a brick and easy to use. However, last year I'd used mine as far as it would go, and after 6 years with the same phone I decided it was time to get a new one. When I went to the o2 shop, there weren't many good phones out at the time, so when I saw the Sony Ericcson W810i on the shelf I thought I would buy it because my friend had the same one and she loves it. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It is such a good phone! The walkman feature is brilliant, you can even listen to songs on loudspeaker so you can have a dance while you're in the shower! It also cures boredom on bus journeys and while having a walk, and you don't even need to carry round an MP3 player with you because of the fact that there is one built in on this phone. I've dropped this phone so many times and it still works perfectly fine and has recieved no cracks or scratches, it is perfect for me! The buttons are a great size, they are easy to text with. I've had many phones where it is almost impossible to text because the buttons are too close together or too small, but these buttons are fine. The battery life is fairly good although if you listen to music regularly you will also need to charge it regularly. The sound quality is pretty good though, better than alot of other MP3 players I've had! There are other features that come in handy, such as games, bluetooth, voice recorder etc. It is not that expensive for the amount of things that you get built into it, I would definitely reccommend giving it a try if you want a reliable phone which isn't too flash but also has some good features to keep you entertained.

Summary: I would reccommend this phone if you aren't interested in flashy phones. Basic but fun features.
