Advantages: Music player, FM radio, internet capabilities, 2mp camera

Disadvantages: sony operating system sometimes prone to crashes

This was the first Sony Ericsson phone that I purchased and I wasn't dissapointed. The main reason this was my phone of choice was that the music player that it toted. I had never been a fan of MP3 players but I did want to have music on the move. The music player in the phone is very intuitive playing MP3 and A-trac music files. Another good feature is the built in Fm radio which is often better than listening to the same music over and over.

The internal memory is a pitiful 32mb which will get you nothing on the phone, but the memory can be expanded to up to 8gb through the use of a Sony memory card. However that in itself is a problem, in that the memory card the phone accepts is limited to the Sony brand.

The headphones that come in the package are also of a high quality and it is unlikely that you will need to replace them.

The phone also sports a 2 megapixel camera, which when the phone was released was one of the better ones, and even by todays standards it will still hold up.

The main problem with the Sony Ericcson phones is that Sony insist on the phones being completely incompatible with all other phones. The charger and headphone slots are all specific to Sony phones and can be a pain to get an improved set of headphones, of that is what you want. Also the Sony memory cards means that you can't just slot the card into another device.

Currently this phone has been out for around 3 years but is still a good phone that would stand the test of time. Also given that it has been so long since its release, it would be extremely cheap

Summary: A good phone and well worth it, even now.

Some good information here but don't forget that some people want to know how this performs as a phone as well.
