I have owned my Sony Ericsson W810i for over two years now and am still as happy as I was when I first got it.

The Design:

The W810i has a very subtle and attractive look to it, it feels comfortable to hold and this provides an instant piece of mind as it feels a quality make, not cheap and plastic. The keypad on the phone is very easy to use and this gives the user the ability to "speed type" this is due to the clever spacing between each key and the high responsiveness.

On each side of the phone you will find certain useful hot keys. There is a silver oblong shaped button which allows the user speedy access to the camera option on the phone, and along from this is two attached buttons giving the function to zoom in and out. On the opposite side there is a single button which gives quick access to the Walkman play/pause function. The twin buttons on the opposite side (which are used for zooming) double up as volume control.

Features:

The W810i is packed full of useful and entertaining features. The built in 2.0 mega-pixel digital camera includes auto-focus and a photo light which allows the user to take good quality photos in focus and at night.

The Walkman function is very powerful with good sound quality and the ability to play MP3, AAC and MPEG4 files. There is also an FM radio with RDS available on the phone.

The phone has an expandable memory slot which takes up to 2gb Memory Stick Pro Duo cards.

Bluetooth is also a necessary function on the phone nowadays, and the W810i does not fail to impress with its bluetooth connectivity.

Overall:

This phone is virtually indestructable. Mine has survived a number of falls on concrete and ceramic tiles and has only received a couple of battle scars as a result!

This phone is a definite winner for those who are looking for an affordable phone which is keeping with the times!
