Sony Ericsson W810i
Advantages: Doesn't break easily, easy to use, good features
Disadvantages: The camera is only 2mp
I brought my W810i 4 years ago for £80, although I have had a new phone since, this phone still works perfectly and is in great condition.
The phone itself is quite small and fits nicely into your pocket. The screen is half the size of the phone, with the buttons occupying the rest. The buttons are your basic push in buttons, which are very easy to use.
The camera takes up half of the back of the phone, which looked very up-to-date when the phone came out. There are also buttons along each side of the phone, such as the camera button.
The phone has all of the basic features of a mobile; phone calls, texting, calander, alarm etc.
The camera on the phone is 2MP, it isn't amazing quality but if you don't take a lot of photos or have a digital camera this will not matter to you.
Also, the phone has a built in MP3 player which is used like any basic MP3; search by artist or song etc. The music actually plays quite loud compared to most phone music players and keeps playing if you open another feature with the music player.
I have had this phone for 4 years now, I used to for 2 years straight and had no problems at all with it. I found this quite surprising and Sony Ericssons tend to break quite easily. The screen is a little scratched now and the writing on the buttons has started to fade, but what do you expect when you've had 2 years straight use out of it? It has been dropped a countless amount of times and has never even turned itself off when being dropped! It really is almost perfect!
After I brought a new phone, I gave this one to my younger sister who was happy with it for another year. She also did not have any problems with the phone and only purchased a new one as this was going slightly out of date.
When my current phone was sent off for repair last month, I used this phone for a couple of weeks whilst waiting for it to be returned. When my phone came back, I actually considered selling it and keeping my W810i as it was so much easier to use! It is easier to text with the buttons rather than a touch screen and is so much easier to navigate! However, as the camera isn't great quality and I have no other way to take photographs, I am stuck with my touchscreen :(
This is a great mobile and is extremely reliable. I only paid £80 for mine 4 years ago, so would assume that it is quite cheap to buy now. If you're looking for a decent phone on a budget definately go for this one!
Summary: A great phone if you are looking for something decent but cheap
