Advantages: Excellent music capabilities, VERY strong and study

Disadvantages: A little bit thick, but not too much of a problem

I have owned the W850i for about 2 years, after my old mobile phone was broken. It's only the second one i've owned, but it's an excellent device - it's worked perfectly all the time even though it was already second hand when i bought it from eBay!

The shape is quite thick, but this isn't a problem at all, as it's extremely sturdy and strong. The sliding style is is pretty cool, as it ensures the keys aren't too small, so sending people text messages is easier than on a lot of phones i've used.
My phone is covered in scratches and dents, and even has a couple of large chunks missing from it! However, this is to be expected, as I often play basketball with it in my pocket, and sometimes stupidly play catch with the phone. Most other phones would probably not work any more considering how i've treated it, so it's good to know i can rely on it.
The phone is also very waterproof - a couple of times it's gotten really wet in the rain or by a swimming pool, and once it stopped working. However, I simply took out the battery, and left the phone in the airing cupboard overnight and it worked fine the next day.

The best feature of the phone (which makes sense seeing as it's a Walkman phone) is the music capabilities. It has an awesome built-in MP3 player, which is very easy to add music to (multimedia can be stored on a memory card or on the internal memory), and the sound comes out pretty loud and sounds good as well.
There's also an FM radio included, which is very handy, however you have to have the Sony Ericsson earphone adapter plugged in to use the radio.

I haven't had any problems with this phone in 2 years, and i know a few other people who own the same model and love it as well! I would definitely recommend this phone for anyone, as it doesn't cost too much either.
