Advantages: Slim design
Disadvantages: Fragile
I have always enjoyed the Sony Ericsson brand of mobile phone and the W880i is no different. Slim, functional and stylish this phone fits nicely in your pocket and because of its size is sure to wow your friends and family alike!
The sound quality is good, the screen resolution is wonderful and menu and 3G Wap is a breeze!
However this particular phone has caused me a couple of problems, something which were never an issue with its predecesor, the W810i.
Because of how thin it is I actually managed to bend it when in my back pocket. After several attempts to straighten it I have given up and now it is just unique! A it still functions fine, which is good!
Also, this phone lacks an FM radio which I always found useful. However, it does have a a decent MP3 player on it and a SD card slot for extra memory capabilities. Accompanying the phone are stylish earphones which provide brilliant sound quality.
So in all, a great phone, but because of its fragility, probably a good job you can upgrade your phone after 12 months!
Summary: A nice phone with a couple of let downs

- 16/01/08 A good start here, but there is so much more you could have said about this phone. May I suggest that you go to the Community page and see the latest (as of today) Crown of the Day on another Sony Ericsson phone to see what I mean. |
