Great phone for affordable price (Sony Ericsson W880i)

The W880i is a great phone. The sleek design of the phone gives it a slim width which results in the phone being easily slipped into a small pocket. The walkman application allows you to upload your own CD's onto the phone which is very useful if you don't have an mp3 player. The sony earphones which come with the phone gives out great sound quality for your beloved music. In addition to this the phone lets you listen to your music on the walkman app whilst doing other things on the phone, such as texting which is great. The sound quality of the speaker on the phone isn't great but the earphones sound quality is outstanding so i would suggest using the earphones whenever listening to music.

The phone allows access to the internet which is quite quick depending on your service provider. The phone has two camera's. The first one isn't the best at 2 megapixels since you can now get cameras on phones with 5+ megapixels, however it still gives great results so long as you don't try and enlargen the image too much. It is located on the top right of the back of the phone. The only downside to this camera is that you cannot zoom in whilst taking pictures. It is odd however that you can zoom in whilst recording a video which is a little strange. This camera is used for the majority of usage as it takes the pictures on the phone. The second camera is only used for making video calls. It is located on the front of the camera to enable you to see yourself on the screen whilst making the video call. This camera is of lower quality than the other one but it still gets the job done.

The phone comes with many other capabilities such as being able to record sounds, create your own music, games, being able to edit photos and videos and more. The phones menu's are very easy to navigate and with the help of the shortcut buttong you can skip to the menu's that you use most often ie profiles, bluetooth etc. The only real downsides i have found with the phone so far is that the buttons are very small which can rarely lead to hitting a wrong button but other than that it is a great phone.

If it were not for the small buttons i would give this phone 10/10 but since there are these small flaws i see 8/10 as a bit more appropriate.
