Advantages: Plenty of features for everybodies needs.
Disadvantages: Problems with freezing and speed of use on Walkman.
My contract with this phone has recently run out, however the W890i proved a very handy phone for the 12 months I had it, showing very few problems.
Initially, the phone was of excellent use and the slim metal casing gave it a modern and sleek look along with a pair of standard headphones and together they proved very durable, however within a few weeks I found that the navigation scrool key had been chipped all around the edges and that the gold colouring on the answer keys was beginning to wear off; although I am known to have butter fingers and the phone casing as a whole never chipped around the edges following drops from all heights!
The features on the phone include a 3.2 megapixel camera with night features and editing features, a walkman player producing good sound (although I found to search through the songs on the phone proved very slow, even though I had only 100 songs), video player, TrackID, Radio, Music and Photo DJ which kept me entertained on boring journeys, Sound recorder, Bluetooth, Games and downloads, all of which provide something for everybodies use.
However despte these excellent features, I must point out that after around 9 months of use, the phone began to repeatedly freeze causing me to have to remove the battery and turn the phone back on. Though although I didn't take the phone to be repaired, a friend of mine who had the same phone and experienced the same problems did and it was repaired for free. However unfortunately she didn't keep the phone long enough to see if the problems arose again.
The size of the phone is perfect to slide into pockets and the buttons are a good size, however the keypad does take a little getting used to if you aren't used to keys so close together. Furthermore, the battery is said to last around 9 and a half hours of call time, excluding the use of other features, and I found that this proved to be true as I was able to have around 4 hours of call time alongside using many of the features.
Altogether despite the freezing problem, which can be fixed, and chipped keys, this phone proved to be very useful and there was nothing I felt was missing, a very good phone!!
