Advantages: simple to use

Disadvantages: showing its age after six months wear and tear

This is the second time I have selected a Sony phone, the old one was replaced at the end of its contract and I was happy enough with it to opt again for Sony. I use this phone for personal calls . It is a compact slider phone that came with a reasonable 12 month contract. It is straight forward to use for basic functions ie making phone calls and sending text messages.

I have used it across Europe, in USA and recently in China with no connection problems. The phone comes with Bluetooth connectivity which was easy to set up with my car. I am not a great technologist so it must be simple.

When I chose the phone I was commuting to work on the train so wanted one with music and radio capability.

Tuning the radio was simple see early comment. The headphones act as the aerial for the radio. Stations can then be preset.

This was the first time I had downloaded music to a phone and was not looking forward to it. The first attempt was a false start as I discovered I needed a memory card but problem solved after buying one. Using the Sony software CD provided and the data cable within an hour or so I had transferred about 20 cds onto the phone . Your downloaded music can be set as a ring tone or as music for your alarm call. Not a revelation to many of you reading this but it was for me 

It has lots of functions for playing music , shaking the phone shuffles the music . Music quality is ok through the supplied headphones but I expect would be better if you upgraded the headphones

It has a 2.0 MP camera which takes reasonable pictures outdoors. Indoors it is not very good as pictures were underexposed. There is built in software on the phone to play with your images but I have not used it. Sending a picture message is easy enough

Internet access is possible with the phone and I have used it on a few occasions but the small screen 4cm x 5cm makes it difficult to use for browsing more than a couple of things. Again using the functionality was straightforward

Overall I use this phone fairly lightly less than 150 minutes a month it has been very reliable with no problems to report. It is showing signs of age being six months old - but guess many would consider this an ancient phone.

Recommendation for those who want to hear a bit of music and to have a reliable phone I would be happy with the w910i. I am sure there are many phones out there which are much better but it does what I want and I am happy with that

Summary: I like it and have no regrets
