I am currently borrowing this phone off my father after breaking my Sony Ericsson K850i.
The exterior of this phone is good, its clam shell fits nicely in the palm of my hand which i like about the phone and you can see who is calling from a mini screen on the front which also shows 4 symbols along the top if an action has happened, it shows a missed call, message, charging and the silent symbol.
The phone is very easy to use, Sony use the same format for there menus on all of the phones, if you have used one you can use them all. It has a limited amount of ring and message tones though, you can't use your own you have to use the standard ones on the phone.
The camera is appallingly bad, very grainy from a company that highly promotes its cybershot phones.
The battery on the phone is terrible, you have to charge it everyday, make one short call and the battery is nearly dead so if you work away from home or go camping then don't buy this phone, you need to be near a charger at all times!
The sound quality of incoming calls is very tinny and it hurt my ear to talk to people.
I am glad i am just borrowing this phone and didn't buy it, i think Sony Ericsson is a great brand from my last three cybershot phones but i don't recommend this one at all.
Let your phone reflect who you are. Personalize with light effects. Change themes at a specified time - one appearance at work, another in your leisure time.
The Z310i is just as versatile as you are. Use it as a work tool during the day. Then leave the office, hit the night club and show off with cool light effects and sophisticated backlit keys.
