When the time comes round each year to upgrade my contract mobile phone I generally take the opportunity to pick up a new handset with a few additional new features that my existing phone lacks. Last year, when upgrade time arrived, I discovered that none of the new handsets around could offer me much more than my existing Sony Ericsson w810i Walkman phone already had. It's all just personal preference I suppose, but all I was after was a phone with a decent camera and mp3 player, both of which the W810i had. Over the years I've owned various different Nokia phones, but was happy with my switch over to Sony Ericsson, plus I'd never owned a flip ... Read the complete review

The Sony Ericsson Z610i is a slick, chic clamshell mobile telephone that you would be proud to answer in public. The modernity and sophistication of a phone such as this provokes many compliments from onlookers. I received my Z610i on a monthly contract and have been happy with the commitment I made to the phone as I received what was promised to me; a classy, easy to use, reliable and fashionable mobile phone. I am unable to fault the functions the phone offers and the quality of its applications, for example the 2 excellent 2.0 mega pixel cameras included (one used solely for video calls,) and also the quality of the video and music player the phone includes. The ease ... Read the complete review

I brought this phone as it was relatively cheap when i broke mine and just needed a new one. But since then i have come to love it and would definitely recommend it. I believe now you can buy it for around £60. The battery life is fantastic. It's tough, can be dropped and allsorts and still work! You can clearly hear people when they call, and any songs you choose to play. It has quite a large memory. I'm afraid I am unsure of the actual size. It's java enabled, so you can download applications from the internet. I play poker on my phone and use a version of instant messenger on it. It only has a 2.0MP camera, which compared to the new samsung 12MP i guess ... Read the complete review

I owned the Rose Pink version of this phone, very girly but very stylish. The OLED screen is a lovely touch on the mirrored front. When on a call the front of the pink model displays moving bubbles, in hanging up the call it first shows call duration then the time. The only downside about this mirrored external screen is that it's impossible to read in bright conditions. The keypad is nicely spaced out but the clamshell means that the buttons have a small profile which can be difficult to get used to at first. But the side buttons are easily accessible and the layout of the phone is good for audio calling and video calling. The speakerphone works well and the ... Read the complete review

I owned this phone for about a year and it endured so much, let me tell you! This phone has been dropped in puddles and thrown and was still alive and well when I gave it up for my new phone. I owned it in the rose pink, I loved the mirrored appearance of the phone, however, I did find that the front scratched really easily. I would recommend keeping it in a case if you did purchase it. The keys are of a reasonable size and it is easy to use all the functions. Functions include an MP3 player and 2 digital cameras, which can be used for video calling. The main digital camera is 2MP and has various settings but no flash. Pictures come out at a ... Read the complete review
