A fantastic phone from sony! (Sony Ericsson Z610i)

Advantages: good value for money, variety of features and settings.

Disadvantages: low resolution camera lets it down slightly.

I brought this phone as it was relatively cheap when i broke mine and just needed a new one. But since then i have come to love it and would definitely recommend it. I believe now you can buy it for around £60. The battery life is fantastic. It's tough, can be dropped and allsorts and still work! You can clearly hear people when they call, and any songs you choose to play.

It has quite a large memory. I'm afraid I am unsure of the actual size. It's java enabled, so you can download applications from the internet. I play poker on my phone and use a version of instant messenger on it. It only has a 2.0MP camera, which compared to the new samsung 12MP i guess that pails in comparison. But it still takes clear photos that are still good once uploaded to your computer. It also films short videos, which again are of a reasonable quality. It has a couple of games that come with it. And mine had a photo editing app on it too but that may depend on your network provider. I have upgraded my phone several times since but find myself continuing to go back to this one. It's reliable and smart and it's good looking!

It has a display on the front when closed so you can still see who's calling or who has sent you a text. You can answer just by flipping open the phone. You can store a reasonable amount of music on the phone and plug headphones into it. The songs play in good quality. I am yet to find something to complain about with this phone. You can change almost everything to your taste in the settings folder. It's well priced and apart from the camera quite modern for 60 quid! I would definitely recommend!
