I bought the Sony Errisson K700i for £89.99 ($154) in the UK. In the store, the K700i had the most features for its price. In terms of design, the K700i has a nice candybar design. From the reverse, the phone looks a camera, and from the front a phone. The K700i is averagely thin, with buttons on the sides (a volume rocker, camera button, and online key etc.). At the base is a charger and headset jack (the K700i comes supplied with a wired headset which can be used to listen to music, radio and used as a headset during calls). At the top is a dedicated power button. The K700i performs all the usual calling, texting, and Internet services well, ... Read the complete review

Let’s get one thing straight from the start: if you are looking for the latest mobile phone, packed with the most up-to-date technology to show off to your friends, then the Sony Ericsson K700i is not the phone for you. In mobile terms, it’s now reaching middle age, having first been released in mid-2004. However, if you’re looking for a phone that offers good reliability with some useful additional features, then it could well be a good option. I’ll start off by considering some of the basics, before looking at some of the additional features in a bit more detail. Specification: -- 65k colour TFT screen -- VGA Stills & video camera ... Ths SonyEricsson K700 or K700i is hyped as the best camera/phone combination to date, with a few added extras thrown in to boot. So just what can this phone do? You should take a deep breath and try tro say this all in one go: Quad band, bluetooth, infra-red, radio, MP3 player, GPRS wap, 41mb internal memory, changeable themes, java games, contacts, calendar, notes, voice recorder, and oh yes it can make telephone calls as well. Add to the list the impressive 1.3mp camera capable of taking stills and video with sound and we begin to see just what all the fuss is about. This is one tiny device, with so much packed into it that it's almost ... Read the complete review

As i sit here and write this review i am listening to Bombs over Baghdad an mp3 file i have downloaded onto my phone via bluetooth and a little nifty device i still havn't fully understand how to use. I dont know about you but i find it amazing that I can listen to good quality songs on my phone and I know you could get real music tones o other phones this is just so much better. My new phone is on a higher level than all that have come before it, it has taken mobile phones into the future! Features ------------- The phone is absolutely packed full of different features that are on the whole easy to use. There is a ... Read the complete review

After nearly a decade of Nokia use (my first phone was a brick-like 2140), due to supply shortages I could either have waited two months for a 6230 or plumped for the K700i. Eager to see what all the fuss was about, I went for the latter. Pretty much from the word "go" I knew I'd made a mistake. The user interface is inconsistent, clunky and feels slow and unresponsive. The battery life was poor when compared to my previous phone, a Nokia 8310. And worst of all, it was buggy: apart from the niggles like silent mode not silencing everything and the ludicrous limitation of fifteen people in a contact group, it started to crash. Now ...
