Advantages: Small, Good WAP Browser, Funky Colour

Disadvantages: Strange software bugs

Can a mobile be both Cheep and Cheerful? well I'd say that the T200 Defiantly is!

Usually, I see lots of reviews which state "I just got this and.." or "well, I?ve had it a week.." etc. etc.

Well I thought I?d be different and wait a while (well 6 months to be precise) and try and iron out any bugs or bad designs the phone might have.

I'll start off with the gritty facts:

Features:

Calculator (standard Calculator, does what it says on the tin)
Calendar (very useful this, allows you to set alarms for preset dates)
Games (my software version has: Tennis, Q, Ballpop and Pulldown)
High Speed Data (for use when connecting a laptop to the internet @ 28.8k)
WAP Button (basically a button which logs you straight into WAP services)
T9 Predictive Text (exactly what it says)
SIM card copy (new sim? but want old address book? simply copy the sim into memory!)
Tri-Band (useable in USA)
Vibrating alert
WAP 1.2.1
As well as the standard mobile features, such as SMS compilers etc.

Good Points:

It is 105x48x22mm in size and comes in either Black or Ice Blue (I have the latter)

The actual phone stands out because of its excellent screen... no it?s not colour you shout but it isn?t black and white either!

Its Monochrome which allows for more detailed pictures to be displayed on it (and a funky animation on boot up) the screen backlight is rather odd as well as its a bright blue! It?s very easy to see in the day and night which is a definite plus.

Sadly it lacks some features like Bluetooth but what do you expect from a phone which costs less than £70 (orange branded) and £100 "Sim-Free" from Sony-Ericsson direct
But, the phone itself offers some nice features (as above) and is a lovely colour (the first thing people usually say about it is "ooh what a nice colour that is" [blue if anyone is wo
ndering]).
The standby battery life is quite good, its lasted a good week (when I?ve not us
ed the phone at all) and a good 4/5 days when I have used it, and the signal strength I get from the phone is quite good, I rarely see it drop below 1 or 2 now (on orange).

A natty feature is the screen logos, as you can create them from your own pictures, upload to Sony Ericsson's website, convert to a suitable size/colour and then download them via WAP/GPRS

Bad Points:

The phone itself suffers one minor bug which relates to start up of the phone "from cold" it?s very temperamental to start up and often refuses to turn on for a few seconds

That?s it for bad points really ;)

To Sum up:

Perfect phone for people who don?t use one often as its very cheap for the money and boasts a lot of features that even the more expensive phones do not

Cheap and cheerful, that suits me. Wish it would suit my fashion concious daughter.
