First things first. You should not buy this phone if you do a lot of text messaging. Even if you like Ericsson phones. It is a perfectly good phone for calling people with, which, you could argue, is what phones are for. But this phone tries to pass itself off as a phone ideal for messaging. This is quite simply not the case. It has hardly any extra space for text messages ,and text input is just far too slow, especially if you're used to Nokia phones.

The GPRS Internet is a nice function in a phone as cheap as this, but it is in my opinion quite useless on such a small screen.

However, it is still a fully functional telephone, and the speaker seams to be of good quality, and reception was good anywhere I took it. If budget is a priority and you need neither bells nor whistles, then I'm sure you could do worse than this. Otherwise keep away.
