Usable? Frustrating... (Sony Ericsson T610)

I love the physical appearance of the T610 but it can be really frustrating as a user to actually use the thing! At times I wonder if anyone actually sat down and used it and assessed it for its usability.

One of the main problems is it's slow when scrolling through menus, sending texts, etc. In fact I'm too fast for it and on a few occasions now I've ended up accidentally answering a call from someone i didn't want to talk to because it's taken a couple of seconds for the phone to catch up with the buttons I was pressing to send a text. So when the call comes through, the phone thinks i've pressed the answer button.

To send a text you have to press about 5 buttons, 3 of them are confirming the person you're sending it to! and the confirmation (positive) buttons change. To confirm something it is not just one button. it is either the button on the right or left, which means you frequently end up accidentally deleting things you didn't mean to.

Depending on what you're deleting the position of it on the menu changes also. Sometimes it is right at the top, other times you have to scroll down a couple of items to delete. this again has left me accidentally deleting things when I've been too quick.

The screen constantly has fingerprints on it no matter how many times you clean it, so my advice is don't bother! This really bugs you at first cos your nice new phone never looks sparkling.
