Sony Ericsson Z600

Well as some of you may know, i've been waiting for the Sony Ericsson Z1010. However, as Sony Ericsson have just started to make flip phones, I wanted to find out what they were like, and so, luckily for me, my sister just got an upgrade and it was the Z600. 've been using this phone for 6 days now, and it has been brilliant. It is very, very similar to the T610, but has a much sharper and brighter screen. I felt like a bit of a change. Flip phones had started to come out with all the features that the normal ones had ? changeable covers, cameras, everything. This is SonyEricsson's first flip phone, and the only one until the low end Z200 and 3G Z1010 arrive. It possibly beats the Z1010 on looks, even if it isn't as funky as the Z200. Being an Apple Mac user, I notice a lot of Mac-like inspiration behind its design, which is quite a good thing. It feels a lot better built than Samsung's offerings, and its rounded edges make it great to hold. it's a bit more conventional than Motorola's flip phones, even if the V600 has this one beaten on features, mainly its better camera, the Z600 is probably better off having less superfluous features. I've had my z600 for about 6 months now, I originally had it imported from hong kong as they were quite rare in the uk at the time. I happy with it. I previously owned a nokia, which was great in it's own right, but the z600 didn't fail to impress. from the get go, the phone is neat, the front display, which by default displays the time is clear and has a sweetly backlit blue display. it also displays who's calling before you flip the phone open and displays the sender of text messages etc. the main display is sharp and clear and the colours are nice and bright. the buttons are nicely arranged and are again backlit blue. the phone doesn't ...  Read the complete review
