I have been due for an upgrade since September, but am still waiting for the release of the phone I really want, I rang up to see if there was any release date set for it but was told there was still no date set, but would I like to charge the T Mobile G1 instead?! I haven't really been interested in this phone because of having read a few reviews, and looking the spec etc up myself, it just wasn't something that appealed to me. I said I'd prefer to just wait but the sales guy said I could try it for 7 days and if it wasn't to my liking, I could send back and there'd be no difference in my account status, so after a bit of persuasion, I agreed. The phone is ... Read the complete review

The T-Mobile G1 (or "Google phone") as it's commonly known is an incredible piece of mobile technology. with a design incorporating touch screen alongside a QWERTY keyboard akin to that of the "sidekick" this offers the best of both worlds. The touch screen itself is sensitive enough without being a nuisance upon itself and the user, clear sharp picture and a bright backlight (default setting) make this an easy to read display. Like the majority of phones it is harder to see clearly in direct sunlight, but is still better than average. Comparable to a Blackberry for being constantly conected to the 3G network the G1 also ... Read the complete review

Mobile phones seem to get better and better every year. Not long after you buy one do you find that the next model is already on the shelves. The new G1 is the first phone released by google (in association wih T-mobile) and is seemingly there attempt to rival the I-phone. == The Look == For a while it seemed phones would continue to get smaller and smaller, thats no the case anymore. Now it is all about how big the screen is and so it should be! The screen on the G1 is a decent 3.2 inches. It comes in black or white and in general it is a nice looking phone. It has smooth corners, a nice erganomic feel and has very discreet features (e.g the ... Read the complete review

I recently purchased the 1st Google phone, the G1. A partnership between T-Mobile and Google, its the 1st open source phone to be launched. Not for people who like thier phones small/discreet. Ideal for business users who are always on the go and need net/email access. Or just for gadget freaks like me.... Advantages ======== It comes in black or white, and whilst it's not quite as good looking as the iphone, it's still pretty sexy! I have the white phone. It as a selection of keys on the outside (menu, call, call end, back, home) as well as a full qwerty keypad, which is ideal for long emails and text messages. The phone has a ... When looking for a new phone recently, I had no idea what I was looking for, until I found it in the beautiful technological package that is the Google G1. This phone has helped me organise my life! I love the sliding style of it and the qwerty keyboard is brilliant; it didn't take much getting used to. Although it was initially the design of the phone that attracted me to it, the more I heard about the features, the more I wanted it. This phone is ideal for communication and staying in touch with people. The internet access provides limitless opportunities, allowing you to go on Facebook or Twitter whenever you fancy, as well as checking your email on the ... Read the complete review
