In my role as an estate Agent I am often out valuing and listing Properties, some time ago though the office camera was broken and we were forced to take other measure, during this time though I found that the camera on my phone works easily when taking photos and they still come out at good quality - at the same time the upload from camera to computer was easy, this has been a massive problem for me in the past as I have used the phone on nights out and then not been a...more

Crowned Review T-Mobile G1: The G1... Gets A G- From Me! (2342 words)

I have been due for an upgrade since September, but am still waiting for the release of the phone I really want, I rang up to see if there was any release date set for it but was told there was still no date set, but would I like to charge the T Mobile G1 instead?! I haven't really been interested in this phone because of having read a few reviews, and looking the spec etc up myself, it just wasn't something that appealed to me. I said I'd prefer to just wait but the sales guy said I could try it for 7 days and if it wasn't to my liking, I could send back and there'd be no difference in my account status, so after a bit of persuasion, I agreed. The phone is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review G this is good! (1161 words)

Well, this is a nice change for me, whenever I have been tempted to do a review on a mobile phone I have never had strong feelings on it either way. Having now owned this phone for a considerable amount of time though I am pleased to say that I am still incredibly happy with my choice. I was due an upgrade from T-mobile, and as ever when contacted to be made aware of this I had a look through the web site to see what was on offer, the G1 caught my eye straight away, a lot of people I knew at the time had blackberrys but having seen men with thumbs far to large to make this phone practical I was put off instantly. The other key decision for buying ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review T-Mobile G1: Google calling.... (585 words)

Rating:

The T-Mobile G1 (or "Google phone") as it's commonly known is an incredible piece of mobile technology. with a design incorporating touch screen alongside a QWERTY keyboard akin to that of the "sidekick" this offers the best of both worlds. The touch screen itself is sensitive enough without being a nuisance upon itself and the user, clear sharp picture and a bright backlight (default setting) make this an easy to read display. Like the majority of phones it is harder to see clearly in direct sunlight, but is still better than average. Comparable to a Blackberry for being constantly conected to the 3G network the G1 also ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Google's Android! (2329 words)

Mobile phones seem to get better and better every year. Not long after you buy one do you find that the next model is already on the shelves. The new G1 is the first phone released by google (in association wih T-mobile) and is seemingly there attempt to rival the I-phone. == The Look == For a while it seemed phones would continue to get smaller and smaller, thats no the case anymore. Now it is all about how big the screen is and so it should be! The screen on the G1 is a decent 3.2 inches. It comes in black or white and in general it is a nice looking phone. It has smooth corners, a nice erganomic feel and has very discreet features (e.g the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review T-Mobile G1 Andrid phone (451 words)
by - written on 01/01/09 (Very useful, 83 readings)

I recently purchased the 1st Google phone, the G1. A partnership between T-Mobile and Google, its the 1st open source phone to be launched. Not for people who like thier phones small/discreet. Ideal for business users who are always on the go and need net/email access. Or just for gadget freaks like me.... Advantages ======== It comes in black or white, and whilst it's not quite as good looking as the iphone, it's still pretty sexy! I have the white phone. It as a selection of keys on the outside (menu, call, call end, back, home) as well as a full qwerty keypad, which is ideal for long emails and text messages. The phone has a ...  Read the complete review
