Disadvantages: No screen protector

The iPhone 3G certainly is a sexy product, although I personally liked the 1st generation model. The 1st gen had a more solid feel to it, whereas the new 3G model feels a little cheaper and that plastic back certainly is prone to fingerprints and scratches.

This sleeve from Belkin is nice a soft, with a snazzy stripey design to the back. It is very easy to fit, you just stretch it a little and pop your iPhone 3G into it. The case protects the complete back of the iPhone and the sides, with the lip of the sleeve just coming around the front side a little. This is just enough to hold the iPhone in place and it certainly makes the unit feel a lot more grippy. With the sleeve in place I feel as though you are a lot less likely to drop your iPhone.

There are cutouts for the microphone, speakers, dock connector and the rear facing camera. The only thing that lets the case down is the lack of screen protection. It would only cost 50p to include a screen protector, so this is a shame. For £9.99 though, I felt like it was £10 well spent. I don't think it will stay as my favourite case, but it does fit nicely, so if you are looking for something a bit groovy, check it out.
