The Belkin Sleeve has a textured feel, and choice of multi-coloured options, including Black and Infrared, Gray and Grapefruit and Bright Pink and Cool Grey.

The sleeve is a case providing a normal amount of protection, but when using it for a few days the disadvantages start to kick in.

Application is easy - simple stretch it over your iPhone and massage it into place. The case provides complete protection for the back of your iPhone 3G; which let's admit, is the area you want to protect the most. That plastic is so easy to scratch without any effort! The sleeve also adds just enough of grip to your iPhone to make you feel comfortable that you won't drop it. The sides are protected also, and the bezel of the phone is covered with the sleeve, so no more scruffs either!

The case fits well and there are cut-outs for the speakers, microphone, dock connector, and the camera. There's also access to all ports and controls, and you can charge your iPhone while the case is on.

After a few days of use, I did notice the sleeve began to stretch and wasn't as form-fitting as when first purchased.

There is no screen protector included, which may put off potential buyers. In my own experience, I feel that a screen protector is a necessity. The iPhone screen may be made of a very scratch resident screen, but a protector makes you feel that extra bit safe. You don't notice they're on anyway!

Overall, the Belkin Silicone Sleeve is an "alright" case. It offers a considerable amount of protection, but is missing some protection compared to other cases. If you're looking for some original and 'groovy', definitely check out the Belkin Sleeve - but make sure you buy a screen protector!
