I love my iPhone and I am always worried about the screen becoming damaged or scratched. iPhones are so expensive to replace or repair and I could really do without anything happening to my screen so I purchased the Hama Pro Class for Apple iPhone which is basically a screen protector made especially for the iPhone.

The screen protector cost me £6.99 from HMV.

The screen protector is basically just a little sheet of clear plastic which sticks to the screen of the iPhone protecting it from any scratches or smudges when it is in use. Hama uses a high-tech foil which does not allow fingerprints or anything which can scratch the screen penetrate it without it making the screen any less clearer. I must say I was impressed with the screen protector as I thought it would obscure the screen slightly and possibly make it blurry but it really doesn't. It is like the screen protector isn't even there it is that good. It is also an anti-reflective material.

It is really easy to apply the screen protector. The Hama one comes with a little spatula to help you apply it but I didn't use that as I could feel myself becoming frustrated with it and it is only used so that you can smooth out any air bubbles. The screen protector has two holes cut into it - one is for the button you use on the iPhone (the one with the little square on it) and the one is the one you use to hear from. You have to make sure you have these lined up correctly when you are putting the protector on.

It isn't easy to get this on. It can become really frustrating as those holes have to be on just right because if they are not it is really obvious that you have a screen protector on your iPhone. Patience really is the key! It took me about 5 goes to get it right. I had to keep taking it off and reapplying it. At this point I should say that when I was taking it off, I was pleased to find that it did not leave any sticky residue behind.

So far since I have had the screen protector it has done everything it says it will do. It has kept my screen damage and scratch free as well as keeping dust and fingerprints off of it. I am really happy with my purchase and wouls recommend it.
