... break apart these two halves to remove the case and put it on, it's a simple slide feature but is very fiddly to get on at first if you don't know what your doing ( I would recommend watching YouTube video tutorials of how to install this case onto your iPhone first, like i did). Well, firstly, i am very surprised that i am the first to review this brilliant case! This is the first case i bought for my iPhone 3G, and i still use it now! This is a hard case (not a soft and flimsy one like the silicone cases you can get) the top half of the case (shown in the picture in red) is like a hard plastic type material that is comfy to hold and fully protects your iPhone. The bottom half of the case (shown here in black) is a more softer, rubbery material and is also very comfy to hold, this bottom half is more comfy than the top half.
