      Very helpful

      A great invention!!

My friends and I went to the Royal Welsh Show this summer and stayed in a tent for a few days. I had never being camping before as it was something that had never appealed to me so I was a bit concerned about what to take. I was afraid about my phone battery dying and not being able to charge it whilst I was away - and being such a busy show, I was afraid of getting separated from my friends and not being able to get in touch with them. So I decided to buy this emergency charger from Amazon. The current price on Amazon is £17.29 although I don't remember spending this much on mine - I think mine was around the £12 mark if I remember correctly.

The charger itself is a small, long oblong shape. It comes with a USB lead which means that you have to charge the charger by connecting it to the computer - this is the only way you can charge it. Once the charger is charged - simply carry it with you until your phone needs charging - and then you just plug the lead your given; one end into the charger and the other end in your phone.

There were 3 of us when we went camping and we all have smartphones which take up a lot of energy. Having heard good reviews about this charger from Amazon, I got the impression that this charger would do quite a bit of charging before it ran out of energy and needing charging again. So when we got there, my friend asked if she could use the charger to charge her phone - yeah no problem I said. She charged her phone for about 45 minutes until it was fully charged. I went to use the charger straight after and the power had run out...and obviously as I didn't have a computer with me, I couldn't charge the charger...and so I got no use from it whilst I was away which was a pain as I had expected it to have lasted a bit longer than that.

However - despite this, I have been using this charger for example when I go shopping or something. I keep it in my bag to top up my phone so that my phone battery doesn't run out. What's great is the fact that it charges in your bag whilst you shop. You know that annoying feeling you have when your phone battery is flat and you have no time to charge it properly as you need to leave the house, well this is good for that. Plus the fact that it's really small and light and so doesn't take up much room in your bag.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this!

      Thanks for reading!
