Well, most of the time - I think the actual problem with the kit a lot of the time is that it fails to work at times of distress to the driver, mainly when the weather is freezing cold.
At times like these the cold weather appears to render the actual kit useless. It takes a bit of time for the heat to return to the windscreen and it is at this time that you can actually then try to use it properly.
However, ironically, it doesn't need to be this good, and that's because often when I've used navman the actual sat nav (at low temperatures) doesn't appear to work for quite a while, to my huge frustration.
It's a shame that it doesn't work instantly, and although this makes me seem quite churlish, I think as time goes on we should expect more - particularly as competitors will come up with better alternatives.
