Quirky design and would be of interest in its day, but not for me as I am a heavy user.

At the time I bought my Nokia 3210 they were the latest handset from the manufacturer and as with any new phone you want to keep it looking good and allow you to stand out from the crowd (when you are young this is very important!). The easiest and best way to personalise your mobile phone is to choose a cover that suits your personality and mood, and as I am crazy about football I bought the 'Free Kick' model which is an official Nokia product. Xpress-on covers were very popular due to their perfect fit and stylish designs, and the 'Free Kick' fascia and keypad had a difference - the strange keypad design. Instead of the typical Nokia 3210 keypad with the easy to use keys, the 'Free Kick' keypad has very small buttons. Unfortunately this is a gimmick which does make the mobile phone stand out, but if you are a heavy text message user then I would advise against looking at any covers like this one. The keys are so very small, and as they are the 'jelly' keys my fingers never slid over them easily either.

Costing around the £20 mark Nokia products are always of a very high quality. Unfortunately for me the usability of the phone once this product is applied is diminished. The button on the back cover has a pad at the bottom, allowing for easy removal and the package contains a front and back cover along with the keypad. The image on the cover is well designed, and the graphics are hard-wearing. If you are not a heavy text message user then this cover would be great for any football fan who has the Nokia 3210. I used to prefer the Nokia covers due to their thin plastic keypads which made it easier to type text messages, but as this keypad is of such awkward design I found it useless and couldn't bear it after a few days.

One thing I like about the cover is the design of the case. Other than the keypad design I would have kept using this cover due to its bright and colourful design. If the cover had the standard Nokia keypad I would have been happy with the product, but due to the difficulty with the awkward design I have to mark it down by 2 stars. Nowadays mobile phone covers are no longer a big craze, this is possibly due to the frequency of new handsets coming out, as the life of a mobile phone shortens these companies probably had trouble shifting stock. If you are still using an old style of mobile phone then i would strongly advise against getting this cover, but I would say covers are great if you intend keeping the phone for a long time.
