Airfix Pontoon Bridge - Series 3 ... had ths product as a young lad and couldn t resist buying it for my six year old son to add to his D-Day Gift Set. As a model in itself, it is very simple and basic, which is good for youngsters as they can construct and paint it withsome ease. The boats also provide very good playability as they can be used with figures and other products in the Airfix range. Possible downsides to this product include the slight errors that seem to have been made in the positioning of the holes into which the barriers are fitted: they only line up after considerable fiddling, which may be a problem if you re leaving your children to put this model together. Airfix Kit A50064 D Day Collection Gift Set ... two weeks ago I decided to get into a hobby and after watching The Longest Day, was inspired to create a diorama. After deciding on my diorama being braille scale I went out to look for everything I needed. On arrival to the model shop I looked in the window and there it was. A massive box bragging about how much was inside. I had to have it. After buying it for £29.99, I got home as quick as possible. On opening the box I was met with sprues, a diorama base, paints, brushes, glue and Instructions (a nice little touch is a replica newspaper page).
