T-Mobile web'n'walk Box Micro ... What is the first thing you think of when you hear that word? Actually, perhaps let s not go there. Ha! A dongle, as far as I understand it, is a USB wireless modem, i.e. a modem you can stick into the side of your laptop or PC to connect to the internet via a mobile telephone connection. Sounds just lovely doesn t it? Well... it is... and it isn t. I used the T-Mobile Web n walk USB modem over a period of one and a half years. I ve had a mixed bag of experiences. O2 USB Modem E160 ... to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to persuade BT to supply me with a standard home phone line and am unable to receive any form of broadband through the Pay & Call line that they would allow, but I still wanted to be able to access the internet. So I spent a little while looking through my options and decided that Pay As You Go mobile broadband through O2 was the best solution. 3 Prepay Mobile Broadband Modem ... decided to go for mobile broadband after moving house to the save money and hassle of setting up a landline and I am very happy with it. It is easy to set up - you just plug it in and and install. I take it with me to my parents when I go for a visit as they don t have broadband, its very convenient as you just pop it in your bag and plug it in to the other computer. Setting up an account and checking your usage is also very easy through the three website. However if you are downloading films I would recommend you check regularly as I once went over my allowance and it cost a fortune (about £30 I think) So that was one very expensive film.
