This is the modem I got with my PC and it is crap. I brought it before v90 was out, and 3com have yet to make new drivers for my one yet.

The speed of this modem is very slow when compared to other modems. The voice funtions are limited. All you can do is a basic phone call. Quailty of sound depends on the microphone you use.

With modem prices comming down heavily. I suggest you spend a little more money on a top quality modem. you WILL notice the difference.
