ADSL has rencently come hout here in the UK. Unfortunately, it is more or less impossible to get. BT's prices are enourmously high, (think £150 setup fee, and £40 per month- and that's the cheap option!) in comparision to the US's. I have some cousin's in Canada, who came to visit me over the Christmas break, and they have a cable modem (that offers exactly the same speed as ADSL). They did not pay any setup fee (as it was a special offer), and only pay $40 per month- equal to £15 per month here! That's how much we have to pay here for an unmetered service!
