Internet access is now a major component of wide area connectivity for access to the World Wide Web and Email. With the integral data compression, the AT-AR300 can transmit up to 512kbps of compressed data across a single 64kbps ISDN connection. Data security is maintained by powerful firewalls, incorporating extensive IP filtering to restrict access, whilst logging unauthorized access attempts. Internet access is further enhanced with features such as Network Address Translation (NAT) which allows an entire office to share a single-user Internet Service Provided (ISP) account and Dynamic IP address assignment which simplifies Internet access by allowing your ISP to dynamically assign your IP address every time you access the Net. The AR-300 supports two Analog ports, which can be connected to either telephones or facsimile machines allowing voice and data to share the same ISDN connection. This makes the AT-AR300 ideal for small SOHO offices where high speed Internet access as well as voice communications are required.
