The AVM ISDN-Controller T1 is a 19" system solution for primary rate (S2M) ISDN access, with a PC bus interface. The T1's design guarantees full throughput over all channels of the S2M interface. The T1 concept permits seamless integration in all kinds of communications environment, such as local-area networks or data processing centers. The capabilities of a T1-based communications solution are highly scalable. Built around a transputer network with eight megabytes of RAM, the ISDN-Controller T1 processes the S2M line's 30 channels simultaneously, ensuring full throughput of 2 Mbit/s.
