Eicon Eiconcard S51 ... EiconCard S51 is the first member of Eicon Technology's S-Class family of WAN interface cards targeted for branch office LAN application servers. It offers a High Speed Interface (HSI) port and an ISDN BRI port, supporting line speeds of up to 512 Kbps and 128 Kbps respectively.

The EiconCard allows you to connect over a variety of WAN protocols such as X.25, Frame Relay, PPP, SDLC and HDLC, over leased lines, dial-up lines or ISDN lines. It offloads the server from low level protocol processing tasks, resulting in a saving of valuable server CPU resources. The EiconCard S51 works in conjunction with Eicon Technology's connectivity software, and is supported by Eicon Technology's development tools and third-party products.
