Hermstedt's Leonardo cards achieve fast and reliable ISDN communication with digital and analogue remote sites, with either two or four B channels and optional data/fax modem. All Leonardo cards offer automatic file transfer protocol detection on incoming calls. There is no need to configure separate numbers for different remote sites, which simplifies administration and makes receiving calls much simpler. Naturally, Leonardo cards do not only support file transfer, but also CAPI or IP applications, Internet access, remote access and terminal server services and, when equipped with modem, fax. It is possible to use multiple Leonardo cards in one computer. Because they are active cards and have their own processor, they are ideal for communication servers with many simultaneous connections. Even with high loads, stable operation with only smooth degradation is guaranteed. Traditional modem applications can now also make use of ISDN.
