LineStar PX enables files to be transmitted at bandwidths of up to 256 kbit/s by aggregating four B-channels. The card is fully scaleable, and can be bundled to offer 8, 12 or more channels, as users' needs increase. Combined with desktop faxing capability, the product is ideal for small to medium-sized enterprises, offering high-speed remote access connection over analogue, digital or GSM networks. LineStar PX is also supplied with a suite of software that offers an answerphone facility, fax and file transfer based on the EuroFile standard. LineStar PX is designed for all Windows applications, particularly Microsoft's Small Business Server and NT Enterprise Edition. Virtual COM port support also allows simple integration with fax, terminal and other applications that normally use the serial interface. Other features include Security Access Control software, which allows calls to be filtered using CLI (Caller Line Identification). When used with the remote access application, you can safely define who can enter your system.
