The Marco cards achieve fast and reliable ISDN communication with digital remote sites, and also with analogue sites in the case of Marco SL. Users can exchange data with two different partners at the same time or bundle both data channels to a 128 kbit/s high speed connection, e.g. to save time when transferring larger files. In addition to automatic file transfer protocol detection on incoming calls, there is no need to configure separate numbers (MSN) for different remote sites, which simplifies administration and makes receiving calls much simpler.

Naturally, Marco cards do not only support file transfer, but also IP applications, Internet access and remote access. Marco SL, with its built-in data/fax modem, facilitates analogue data communication up to 33.6 kbit/s, as well as fax at 14.4 kbit/s. Being fully compatible with Windows, the Marco SL also supports CAPI applications. Marco cards are active adapters with their own processors.
