Marco offers automatic file transfer protocol detection on incoming calls. There is no need to configure separate numbers (MSN) for different remote sites, which simplifies administration and makes receiving calls much simpler. Naturally, Marco cards do not only support file transfer, but also IP based applications like Internet access or dial-in into remote computers or networks via ARA Apple Remote Access. Use the LeoPort control panel to set up the appropriate configuration of the ISDN channels. Marco cards are active adapters with their own processors. This guarantees smooth operation. In PC-Card systems other than Apple PowerBook Marco will automatically register itself as two additional serial interfaces supporting the AT command set. Traditional modem applications can than make use of ISDN as well.
