Advantages: Splits the Internet Connect, Works perfectly

Disadvantages: Hard to set up, Very very hard to set up

Im not going to slate this router, cause at the end of the day it works fine at the moment and for the time being.

I have to computer at home wired up to it sharing the internet connection. Works fine. I can share files, share the internet, share printers. Its a dream. I love the whole idea.

This is the only router I have ever had, so maybe any Router would be hell to set up. But it took me about 2 weeks to sort this guy out.

The installation, as always seems easy. Plug it up, install the software, set up a few bits and pieces and your off! Not quite the case.

I had to eventually set the IPs by hand, change Masks, and many hundreds of things. I had my computer talking to the internet, but not the other computer, I then had the two computers talking, but no internet it was hell.

If you know what your doing, when it comes to Networking (like I thought I did) then its worth while, it does the job. If it looses power it saves all the settings so you dont need to reconfigure everything its great. It had 3 lights for every data line to show the connection is established, its blue, its small, it works.

I've had a few minor problems now and then where it kicks out the internet connection, and this will fix itself over time. I just bypass the router and do a direct internet connection via the Broadband box and a few days later connect back up and all is well again.

It splits the internet fantastic. I've had a few internet games with me and a friend in the same room against people all over the world with thanks to this blue box of wonders. With a data transfer of 100mBit, you can't say no.... Unless you dont understand networks, and have no one who knows what they are doing when it comes to them, in which case leave them alone. You'll thank me later.
