In the advanced you can configure allsorts of things, each of them just as easy as the basic settings, and with a little help in a pane that lies to the right of the setting you?re going to change!. Such settings as DHCP (a method which automatically assigns your computer a number that makes it unique from other computers (IP Address)) the plus side of this is that you barely need to configure the parts of TCPIP mentioned earlier, you can go on adding machines and the router will just automatically do all that for you. 	Surfboard SB3100 ... it was in the wrong place when I went to post - I'll try to get it moved! The Surfboard 4100 Cable Modem, made by Motorola, is provided as standard with the Telewest Blueyonder service. If you buy it separately it's about £150. I'm not going to discuss broadband in general here, just the modem itself - if you're interested in broadband I'll be discussing Blueyonder in another op later. The packaging it came in was a BIG box - you'd have thought it was a valuable easily breakable antique if you saw the amount of polystyrene protecting the thing. 	Surfboard SB3100 ... second to 40 or 50 kilobytes per second. All the downloads I had wanted but were much too large were all within my reach. I have only had one problem with the service which was quickly rectified and now I can play games online, surf and download the latest programs in no time. For £24.99 everything is included and in my humble opinion this is worth every penny.
